Why is recycling so hard?

We know the struggle of collecting all the recyclables around the home in time for recycling day. It’s a problem we have experienced too!


Here are some tips on how to make recycling easier:


Make recycling easy


Get bins that are clearly labelled for what goes in them so there is less sorting when preparing the recycling! Place them by the kitchen garbage pail, so there is never an excuse for recyclables being left around the house!


Recycling is part of cleaning up


Treat recycling as a normal part of cleaning up after meals, making it a habit, so it gets done consistently.
