A good microfiber cloth that is well cared for can be washed hundreds of times. These cloths are so effective because they are designed to hold a static charge, which is why they pick up dust so well.
How to wash your microfiber cloths
Shake out all dust and debris
Place load in washing machine with like items only
Use a scent and dye free detergent
Wash in cold water
Dry on low or no heat. Don’t use dryer balls or sheets!
If cloths are really dirty, have a smell, or have a lot of cleaning product on them, place them in a bucket with lukewarm water and some vinegar (approximately 1 cup of vinegar to 11 cups of water). Let sit for a minimum of 15 minutes. Wash as above.
Microfiber cloths are available in different standards of quality, from dollar store to commercial. For the best experience, higher quality ones may work better.
