Do you know that 2025 is over? It went by so fast for us that it's hard to believe!

We are excited to continue serving Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Welland, and everywhere else in the Niagara region! Everyone deserves a clean home and we are happy to provide professional home cleaning services to our clients.

To make a strong start in 2026 on this blog, we will be posting reviews of Canadian cleaning products that we tested last year.

We believe that Canadians should try to buy Canadian products and services when possible, especially when some of those products are as good as the cleaning products we tested!

Uplift Cleaning Company hopes that you, your friends, and your family have a safe and enjoyable Halloween 2025!

Here are some tips to help keep it fun when you celebrate Halloween in the Niagara region:

• Don’t drive impaired! - plan ahead and have a designated driver

• Watch out for children when you’re driving

• Consider a brightly coloured costume for any trick-or-treaters in your family, so that motorists can see them in the dark

• Stay warm! Isn’t it the most Canadian thing to need a Halloween costume that fits over a winter coat?

• Get your home ready for trick-or-treaters by removing tripping hazards around your front step and walkway, consider having some lighting for added safety

• Make your trick-or-treaters more visible by giving them a flashlight or glow sticks to carry

• Enjoy sharing the special adventure of Halloween 2025 with any younger children in your family by going trick-or-treating with them! Consider bringing a stroller or wagon to help transport your little trick-or-treaters when their legs get tired.

• Look after your little ones by checking their treats before they eat any of them

We Encourage you to Buy Canadian Goods and Services

Uplift Cleaning Company, as with businesses all over Canada, has needed to review our supply chain and what we use to perform our work due to the shifting geopolitical landscape of current Canada-US relations. 

When we looked into it in February 2025, we were shocked that all of our cleaning supplies were made in the United States! Since then, we have been working to find suitable cleaning products that are made in Canada, by Canadian companies. 

To our surprise, we have found that the majority of our cleaning supplies can be changed to those made in Canada. Thus, we are in the process of switching as much as we can to Canadian products, which are also more environmentally friendly! Now, whenever possible, we are buying Canadian!

We are not sponsored by any company, but we would like to recommend some products that we like from Canadian companies. This is part of our mission to uplift and empower people by helping them through knowledge sharing to keep their homes clean.
